PERSONAL DOMAINS 

As a prince adds to his inherited domains new ones by marriage and conquest, their shields are added to his personal arms. 

The arms of Francis I (1708-1765, Roman Emperor from 1745) had six shields, for the domains he received from his father and from his wife, Maria Theresa, Queen of Bohemia and Hungary.
