COMMEMORATIVE ARMS
Arms can depict events from the history of the bearer.
The arms of Bermuda commemorate the shipwreck of the "Sea Venture" in 1609; the survivors were the first settlers.
The cross on the top of the Crown of St. Stephen was bent in the 18th century, and since then it is so depicted on the arms of Hungary.
